Hmm, simple enough. I like the hectic pace, but don't think you should short-sell yourself on this one. You cloned his game, yeah....but surely there are things that make it unique?

Anyway, it seems like an impossible challenge, to survive that barrage of dodging for 3 minutes. But I'm sure it's possible. And I think that is what makes it addicting. I also like the addition of medals, and the straight-forward design. I'm sure you put a fair lot of work into this. I've seen some other stuff you did and it's very interesting.

Good luck!

Zanzlanz responds:

Thank you for the review! It is possible to beat it - I've lasted over 320 seconds on here :)
I definitely could have spent more time on it (I rushed it in a week or so in order to be sure I beat him to release! >:D). What I wish I spent more time on is level selecting, variety, and dynamics.

To be honest, it's really bland. There aren't any clear goals other than in Endurance mode.
I like some of the graphics effects like the bird feather, but hate others like the ball in keep-up that spins stupidly when it hits a wall.

To be honest, point-and-click target games like this are very dated. I think this would make an excellent TYPING game. Attach words to the targets and maybe math problems to the birds.

Otherwise, what you have here is a generic and bland target-clicker.

this is only my 2nd game i am still learning. i hope to make better games in the future but for now ti's generic and bland. thank you for response and being honest

Unsure why this has such a low score, I guess people don't like the MS-Paint style graphics. I thought the game was a cool puzzling twist on pool. it's challenging without being ridiculously so. The colourful graphics also add to the enjoyment, I mean the game just LOOKS fun. Reminds me of the old DOS games that looked like this.

amidos2006 responds:

Thanks :) Hope the score increased by time :)

This is very confusing...first off, I don't know which one I'm supposed to click when I see the differences. Secondly, The scores don't appear to work properly.

Overall, I think it's a pretty cool game idea, and I like the use of old animation. I think you did that very well. However, it is very confusing and I don't understand what those words mean.

dystralgame responds:

It should click in the bottom screen. The score has a problem. The highest score is the best. But it was designed to score another site, it is optional here. By the way, look Dystral Game on google and you will find games of errors innovative of all kinds.

Nice graphics, just that I agree with stinkbutt....controls feel really bad and unresponsive. I like that you went for something more innovative than a mouse click, but to be honest if this swiping thing is going to be this hard, I would have preferred a mouseclick.

sticksports responds:

Thanks for the feedback. Have you tried selecting the mouse control option? You can select it from the top-right of the pause menu and that will allow you to play with a click on each shot.

I don't get it. Of course people are going to give you low reviews on this...I give one because I'm not sure why you would upload something like this...just dying to get some praise on it? Obviously it works if you've already tested it on your workstation and you get no debugging errors from your compiler.

In the future, please give us something more substantial.

LFOB responds:

Well, it's more for some of my friends who want to test it out...

I really like a lot of the aspects of "team combat" here, but also detest some minor flaws. Like drool so kindly and sensitively put it, this is really more like Endless War 5 with an added campaign and extra tanks with some additional upgrades. So it feels more like Endless War 5.5, because there's just not enough difference in core gameplay than previous installments.
It seems like you did some things to the main engine and might have worked out processing larger groups of enemies, but nonetheless this looks and feels like the last Endless War...which wasn't bad.

I think that this could STILL use some clean-up in graphics. I think that a lot of the combat dynamics STILL need work SIX games later. For example, my team dies either instantly or just disappears. I have no control over my allies, no control over the build of my tank, and machine guns don't seem to be able to even mow down platoons that are just standing around.

The game is also still frustratingly merciless about dying mid-mission. By having no incentive to keep trying other than the possibility of success, I think many players will STILL be put off.

Overall, I definitely notice a difference. However, it's not polished. Many of the flaws that have plagued earlier versions of Endless War are still present. There still appears to be no anti-aliasing on the graphics, and many enemies are still retarded. Also, in spite of many upgrades, it is still rather easy for my tank to just crash into a building and die after 10 minutes of grinding away at a level.

BlackFox-of-ITMO responds:

I agree, this one (and the next one, probably) is just an additional Endless War 5 campaign. It's just easier for me to make 3 games for each campaign instead of making one big game with all three campaigns.
The only reason why the game called "Endless War 6" is to make it easier to find the game over the internet: when somebody is looking for a sequel of a 5th installment of a series he's actually looking for a 6th part, not 5.5 or something.

I'm going to bring back soldier-based gameplay in next EW games, but it will take much more time than making another EW5 campaign.

Nice use of shadows, but the game overall is really jerky. I think you should include a death animation, increase the framerate, and make the game start properly.

oatlol responds:

As I warned it is only my second game. I don't know enough code to make it the best thing(I wish I did)

Not bad, in fact I like it!

Kooh responds:

Thank you very much, PoisonHeart, glad you enjoy it!

Cool idea, clean grafix, solid gameplay. Needs more levels!

Daench responds:

And I thought 50 levels were to many...
