Awesome! Now this is a "Hunger Games" I can get into. The fact that the timer is only restricted by the players own abilities is awesome. Cute characters, awesome concept, great execution.out of 10...gfx - 8 (basic, but effective)sfx - N/Adesign - 9 (streamlined and simple)gameplay (fast-paced and cool)overall, this is a fun game to pass some time. Only downside: lack of leaderboards.

Totally solid! I love the variety of characters, which most puzzle games of this variety seem to lack. I like the quirky art style, which it is dripping with. I love that the levels are broken down into "worlds" like super mario bros. I like the curve of the challenges.
I think the big hook here is that the first couple of levels are really easy, then it begins to challenge the player. Makes you really want to keep at it.

gfx - 10 (great style, cute and friendly look)
sfx - N/A
design - 10 (simple layout, slick presentation)
gameplay - 10 (great challenge, good physics)

overall, this is a game that sets a certain standard not only in stack-em type games, but puzzle games in general. I can't say I've returned to play a game in awhile, much less been driven to support it by clicking the ads it comes with, but you have my support. I think this is brilliant.

Loses half points for making me wait to decide whether or not I want to play Wizard 101, which I don't. Make game feel gimmicky. Then...the game itself is not all that.
Very basic click-pointer game with interesting graphics design on pumpkins. I think the timer is too long for the lack of content provided, and supplements the users growing boredom. Time limit should be shorter, pumpkins should smash into more parts and be easier to hit, needs upgrades, and needs to not feel like it's sucking up to Wizard 101.

gfx - 7 (not much here, gaudy cross-hair)
sfx - N/A
design - 5 (lackluster, somewhat tasteless due to relatively massive WIzard 101 ad)
gameplay - 4 (very bland, offers no real challenge)

overall, I think this is a timely game for Halloween that could stand to be polished up and freed from Wizard 101's lure of 2 cents per click. After al, there's still two weeks until Halloween!

Very shaky game with massive filesize and horrible menus. Seriously, how could you think that looked good in comparison to the glossy character designs? The pink background with standard font just looks bad. Very unpro.
Furthermore, the game is blurry. I know this is a mobile game, but you couldn't port it over for us in a way that wasn't blurry?

As for the game itself...very slow. Very choppy. Very blurry. Very unexciting.

gfx - 4 (blurry game, ugly menus)
sfx - N/A (can't hear it, not your fault)
design - 6 (decent, with some odd choices)
gameplay - 7 (not terrible, but choppy and sorta bland)

overall, I think there is a lot of potential for a great game, but this is like playing gameboy advance underwater while wearing my gramma's reading glasses.

Way too easy to go to jump on something and miss. The graphics aren't bad, and the game has a certain charm to it. However, I found it all too much and as a result cannot give you a fair review of most features.

gfx - 6 (workable, but too much blending)
sfx - N/A
design - 7 (cool physics, when they work)
gameplay - 6 (nothing too new or exciting)

vladamak responds:

Now they are harder to miss! I made some changes..

Far too complicated. I am not sure people are prepared for three pages of instructions, followed by a maze of menu's and displays. The graphics aren't bad in themselves, but they lack a certain CHUTZPAH. Sorry, can't hear the sounds...
I just don't have the patience or time to sit down for 20 minutes of instructions. If you find yourself getting low ratings, that is probably why...

gameplay - N/A (couldn't figure it out)

PoisonHeart, thanks for your feedback. If anyone is having trouble figuring out the game, these demo videos may help:

It is actually pretty easy to play. You click an action, click your character, then click the pads that are displayed.

I'm not sure why you don't hear the sound effects. I just tried it on here and I could hear it fine or are you saying they are hard to hear?

DEFINITELY needs a magnetic money upgrade. I end up losing out on so many coins because I have to choose either taking damage or missing coins. This sort of breaks the dynamics of the game, because I find it takes too long to gather loot when I'm only collecting half of it.

Overall, I can see the improvement here, but I really don't think it's enough. The raw mechanics may have improved, but there isn't the excess of upgrades and general spoils of war that I would have expected from a game with such challenging levels.

gfx - 7.0 (used Flash default polygon tool)

gameplay - 9.0

overall, this is a fast-paced shooter with interesting controls that suffers from upgrade-anemia.

Okay, some parts are really well designed and others are horrifying. To start, the game needs a working preloader. Probably lose many views and cost you ratings with it the way it is now. Also, the "start game" button is oddly placed, as though to encourage mistaken visits to website. Slightly enraging.

Next, the controls are really sloppy. The car is frustrating to control, and feels cramped and unexciting. However, I do really like the animations for the car rocking to and fro when it moves. Pretty cool detail. However, the 3D guy is ugly, and so is the title screen. Good looking levels are cars, though.
I agree with others that some of the sounds are either dull or just too grating.

Now, speaking of the levels, it is annoying to get almost to the finish line or target parking spot only to bump ever so slightly into a wall for an instant "GAME OVER". Perhaps there should be an acceptable threshold for car damage due to crashes based on speed or what you hit or whatever.

okay, so...out of 10...

gfx - 9 (great cars)
sfx - 4 (grating sounds, also needs music)
design - 6 (frustrating to start over)
gameplay - 7 (taxi controls feel sluggish)

Whatever went into this game is so far beyond me that all I can say is that I love the concept, and I think that this redefines edutainment. It doesn't weigh you down with statistics and huge blocks of reading. It's fast-paced, with great illustrations and effects....it teaches Math, or at least inspires an interest, and it's FRIENDLY.

overall, a really innovative and educational game that doesn't leave much room for frustration. Only flaw may lie in it's simplistic "multiple choice" approach.

josephmcarney responds:

I went back and forth a lot with how I wanted the player to answer the problem (between mult. choice and an input text). I eventually settled on mult. choice because I wanted to focus more on vocabulary and less on spelling. I thought it could create frustrating game play trying to figure out the correct spelling when you knew what the answer was. I, for one, can never figure out how to spell parallel :P
