Could be really awesome if it was more in tune with the original song. Gangnam parodies are a dime a dozen, and you know what they say about getting what you pay for. I don't, but I'm sure you do.
Anyway, would have been cooler if it was the whole video redone with flash animation and the same keyboard controls you have here.
Speaking of controls, these aren't bad. They make sense, and you don't have to be an octopus to play this game.
However, what's up with the recycled background from the video? and also, why is the image quality on your animated Psy all blurry? Were you going for a pixel style or did you just screencap the animation from someone else's Gangnam parody game and botch the format you saved it to?

Good programming, the timing SEEMS to react pretty intuitively, but in the end I was left feeling pretty uninterested and didn't want to keep playing because I knew there was a good chance that there was nothing more to a game we're tired of seeing.

out of 10....
gfx - 6 (poor image quality)
sfx - 3 (what's up with the Gangnam remix...terrible!)
design - 6 (no creativity)
gameplay - 6 (responsive controls, but dull)

overall, this is no different than every other Gangnam game seen so far...very predictable and repetitive with no individual creativity or application of innovation, whatsoever.
I hate to say this, but it seems an awful lot like hopping on a bandwagon bound for Sellout City.

It's basically that old DOS game where you sell drugs and travel around...y'know, Dope Wars or whatever. But instead of feeling cool and rebellious in a rich world of danger, I feel like I'm a 48 year old, balding, business accountant.

Do not like that the game defaults to total amounts of stock when buying and selling. I wish there was a way to compare and track values better than just trying to remember them, too.
I bought a lot of oil, and found that I had to save 500 for travel...which I didn't have. Perhaps there should have been cheaper options for this...and many other things, too, which cost quite a bit...and actually seem to serve little purpose.
I am a fan of this style of game, I just don't think there was enough content here to hold my interest for long.

out of 10...

gfx - 4 (ugly edges, bland GUI)
sfx - 3 (only sound is 1 clicking nouse)
design - 5 (pointless options, boring presentation)
gameplay - 3 (bland, frustrating)

overall, this isn't a game i could even spend five minutes playing because I know the investment isn't worth the payout. I think it's a great idea, as I said: I love this style of game. I just think this could be improved in so many ways and doesn't feel like a complete game. Feels more like it was in alpha stages, and you were too excited to wait.

Feels super out-dated. It's an old-fashioned shooting gallery, but the ducks are shaped like army-men. I guess I really don't understand where the challenge is here, because I don't really find it engaging at all. Really good graphics, decent sounds...it's just that I remember playing games just like this in the computer lab about 10 years ago...
I think current trends expect something more refreshing than this, however the game still scores high...but only has 2 pages of comments? How peculiar.

out of 10...

gfx - 8 (good drawings, okay colors)
sfx - 7 (kinda static-y gun sounds, good music)
design - 7 (outdated style, but well-made)
gameplay - 8 (with sound, not bad at all)

Overall, I started playing it and not enjoying it, but then I turned on the sound and I guess the combination of elements made it pretty fun, in spite of it being "outdated" or "repetitive". I don't think it's as good as 4 stars, but it also isn't bad.

honestly, it's not terrible! however, the last time I tried to make a comment on something that came from a personal philosophy, I got called a fruit. So, try not to be too offended or whatever...

I never liked suicide-themes. The one exception is "Orange Roulette", which only won me over to due sheer amount of style, addiction, and atmosphere. I think my distaste for this kind of humor or sattire or whatever stems from my belief that by putting this out there, you're actually encouraging people to behave negatively.
Perhaps there is that one person who was already RIGHT THERE on the edge...and they clicked this not knowing what it was, extremely depressed, and it pushed them over the limit. I think the title you gave this game is deceptive like the intro to Family Guy. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, I just want people to be positive and more mindful of their impact on the world around them.

Sorry for the lecture or whatever, here we go, super-review time yeah yeah....

The graphics weren't bad, and I liked that the flower could sort of grow or wilt depending on how much "water" it got. The "consciousness" meter seemed either broken or just useless, however. The controls were tight, considering that they're probably just telling an MC to play through.
I think it would have been sort of funny if there was some kind of sound effect as you were cutting, but not something gross and explicit...maybe something cartoon-y like sawing logs or a slide-whistle....hahahaha, a slide whistle would have been hilarious, actually, and made a much stronger statement about violence than what is currently presented.

gfx - 7 (decent illustration, weird lines)
sfx - 0 (no sound at all?! wtf?!)
design - 5 (tasteless, drawn out)
gameplay - 5 (drags on, mostly broken)

overall, I think you should have checked to make sure your nuts and bolts were tightened before finalizing it and uploading, but overall this shows some really creative ability and I look forward to seeing what you do next!

I get it, but I also don't like it. I think that the concept is of course pretty great, very innovative in its way. However, I just found it too confusing and unwieldy. In a game without graphics, you should have put a lot more into the audio. Very easily could have scripted out the lines and posted in the NG BBS asking for a voice talent...they're all over NG, could use the exposure, are %99 highly-talented volunteers, and would have made this a much more enjoyable experience.

The Microsoft SAM voice sucks, I could barely understand it, and didn't want to keep trying to get into the game as a result. Again, great concept, poorly executed (in my opinion).

gfx - N/A
sfx - 2 (irritating voice, low-quality sfx)
design - 5 (fantastic concept, poor execution)
gameplay - 6 (difficulting, frustrating, but different)

overall, this was a really great idea that I wish you could have waited for an actual voice talent to submit...because if you do that now, the exposure of being at the top of the portal under judgement will have worn off, and a very slim % of your audience will ever even notice, ergo making this a waste of your time.
I don't know if this needs an update, or if we should just look forward to the next rad thing you do!

Kwing responds:

I don't really do this for fame, so if I submit this with an awful voice, then change it and nobody sees it, I don't mind. Thanks for the kind words, though.

Awesome! A really great, unique platformer that performs decently on slower systems, isn't a size-hog, looks good, and plays well. Although, to be honest, I'm into more fast-paced games, but this one is still quite excellent! I really like how spooky it is, and how it tries to keep the cut-scene dialogue to a minimum. I think the ability to change forms and use the respective powers of each is a tried and true design, and here it is carried out quite well...
I like the premise, a curse that imbues them with weird abilities that they have to use to break the curse. Kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy, there's something philosophical here about that.
I will say that I experienced mild lag on a pretty average system with 1gig RAM...
Really like the option for 2 player mode, didn't try it but I bet it's actually pretty cool...sort of rare to see 2-player Flash games anymore. Also like that the game isn't afraid to be creative, I just think it's too bad that it didn't make it in in time for Halloween, because it would have been perfect!
Only real complaints are that the game might be too slowly-paced for some players like myself who just prefer a more action-oriented experience, and the fact that there don't appear to be any upgrades. I didn't figure out the purpose of the little wisps you collect, but it seems like a wasted opportunity to include upgrades. with the wisps as point tallies. Also, the atmosphere is great, but after so long I began to wonder at how repetitive the game was and as a result quite playing.

out of 10...
gfx - 8.5 (clean drawings, good animation)
sfx - 6.5 (spooky soundtrack, but not much fx)
design - 7.5 (great atmosphere, good physics)
gameplay - 7.5 (solid and engaging, perhaps somewhat plain)

overall, this is a great platformer that could provide a lot of entertainment for a casual audience that isn't focused on technicalities. For more hardcore gamers, it may appear to lack much of the complex and more unique gameplay and design elements we see in other Flash platformers like "Discount Mayonnaise" or even "Cyclomaniacs", if you want to stretch it.

Unresponsive controls, poor blending of graphics, and an already tired theme and genre makes Jack a dull boy. Seriously, terrible Slender Man....he could have been scary, I think, if the drawing was at least cleaned up somewhat, or given a more definite style. As it is, looks like stickman-version of Jack Skellington with a balloon for a head! It's not scary at all. Maybe if Slender Man grabbed the player when they died and carried them off or something....

And the controls....I think it's screwy that if I get caught behind a red box then my only option is to jump and roll (maybe, didn't get a chance to get it to work), but no matter how hard I tried...if I got trapped behind a red box, I got stuck and died.
And that roll doesn't seem to serve a purpose...I mean it's interesting, but so what? It doesn't do anything.
I do like that the controls are static and don't make the player switch back and forth between mouse and keyboard to do simple things like say....restart the game.
I also really like the inclusion of hi-score tables. I think that really bolsters the interest in the game.

out of 10...
gfx - 4 (poor blending of various styles)
sfx - N/A (I have no soundcard)
design - 5 (cool hi-scores, but tired theme)
gameplay - 4 (poor controls, bad physics)

overall, this could have been a much better game if it either wasn't Slender-themed or just did what it tried a little better. I think the design is okay, but overall this really seems sort of uninspired and I think it doesn't work, given what it does. Slender was never a really good idea in the first place, and I wonder if even the people who were fans are sick of it yet.
I think that your next game will be radical, but I sincerely hope it's a much more original idea and that it's a reasonable filesize, as 10mb is a very rude thing to upload. To me, it says you really don't care how long I have to wait to play the game.
