this actually shows that you can make a game which, while still ugly and mostly broken, isn't completely pitiful.

why make these games? and why not put any effort into your work?
quality toggle, please!
haha, but would have been better if maybe you cut out the pedos in their outlines, would have been funnier than just square shapes. then they should have exploded, would've been epic...especially with maybe scores, or a hi-score table even maybe.
i like how each level changes the pattern of the enemies.
pretty funny.
i knew i was the most important member of NG because i was the main character.
its about time you got your own game lul
To be honest, the game strikes me as obnoxious due to its level design. It's not really fun to me, because it's such a pain in the ass. I like the concept and the programming seems pretty sound, but dude....DrRobot, this game has some of the most poorly designed levels I've seen since I still played my PS2.
I found the first level which teaches you about using the slingshot on those four boxes to be redundant. Why the hell do I need four boxes on one of the first levels? The one that made me hit the ejector seat was when I had to try to balance a box on some ridiculously narrow platforms, snaking it up steps of them. It was like trying to snake a drain, which I'm convinced is more fun than this.
Perhaps the levels get a little better, and perhaps you're different than every other dev who assumes they are 10x better at this than I am....and maybe you will revise your levels. Maybe you won't! Who cares.

gfx - 6 (decent, but bland)
sfx - N/A (no soundcard here)
design - 2 (bad levels, weak presentation)
gameplay - 4 (interesting controls, but a moot point)
overall, I really wanted to like this one. It plays with gravity, and that can be really fun. But to reiterate, overall I felt more annoyed than anything else. I say this to you because I think it will cost you views. On an unrelated note, I wish i hadn't drank expired milk.
a really great twist on maze-style games. it incorporates physics, collecting, and logic to produce a really addictive experience. Granted, the graphics are towards the lower side, but they do create a pretty good atmosphere with random shapes floating around to add perspective and depth.
Essentially, this is one of those old-fashioned wooden "metal ball mazes" where you try to roll the ball from one corner to another by tilting the box. It differs in that unlike that devious wooden pastime, this provides hi-scores....electronic music....special effects....and is a really great time.
there feels like some lag, on my machine, even on low-quality, but that's alright. I also had some minor issues with the camera angles, how it could jump from one group of water to another. I also will say that I wish you had picked a different color for the water....it looks kinda gross.

gfx - 7 (serviceable, lacks killer style)
sfx - 7 (soundtrack drags, no sfx)
design - 8 (good levels, nice presentation)
gameplay - 9 (addictive, simple, fun)
overall, this is a great game to pass some time. it may be rough around the edges in some regards, but mostly just all-around good, simple, clean fun that challenges your brain without making you answer any stupid questions.
Thanks man. I am glad that you liked my game
i love the idea! i just wish I could use my mouse-wheel to scroll...
You can use the mouse wheel to scroll, when I added the slider, I must have broke the scroll feature...I will get it fixed by tomorrow.
well, without any clear goals or "power-pellets" to keep me going, I just sort of gave up. not very fun, even though it does some interesting things. I had a rough time with the GFX, they're pretty shaky. Didn't listen to the sounds, no speakers.
I really liked the way enemies responded to different situations, like your being behind a tree or crashing into a tree....yet, there's no variety, no score, no goal! A fruitless expedition for players.

gfx - 5 (hard to make out)
sfx - N/A (i have no soundcard)
design - 6 (another featureless game)
gameplay - 5 (doesn't hold interest)
overall, i suspect this is one of those "just testing my coding skills" games that doesn't leave much room for players. A high-score table, a weapon, and other simple stuff would go a long way here. Sadly, as is...feels half-baked.
I've made this game with Construct 2 Free Edition. No coding, really. Can't add anymore enemies, weapons, etc with this edition. There is a snowball launcher power up. Thanks for the review.
