Hard to think when you're malnourished, almost like being too cold, though it's spotty... 10 year old peanut butter and a meatball was all the protein I had this past week, aside from noodles and rice :|

No oil or bread. I had built up a good stock of dry goods, but I pretty much halved/ate the good stuff before I moved out late last year. Never buying B&M baked bean again, gave them enough chances over the past 2 decades. So I made elbow noodles chilled them and added mayo, salt pepper. Poor cats have been getting canned corn, smooshed with a fork, no way they'd go to greens or beans, must be the starch or something.

Yeah, beans are the beans. I guess I'm handling the pasta ok, sure helps to have adequate amounts of butter and sketti sauce. Next time I go shopping, I'll buy a good can of beans, and a couple of things of lentils, since the protein count is decent. I had to do peanut butter for a while, it's hard to get down on it's own :p

And on the flip side of things, I had to order Italian by phone for delivery, they gave me the total and the ETA, and when the guy shows up, he gives me another price... an extra plain pie :| Guess I'll freeze a few pieces, just hope I have enough for the tow truck driver tomorrow. Truck's all cleaned out (again), but it was kinda shitty weather out today, so I'll call and (hopefully) get an accurate quote before they haul the thing away.

My Ma used to be into boxing, and she was kinda pissed he dogded the draft and got a weird religion, she warmed up to him again.

Really does help if you keep the money local, and not let go big sums :/
